ANGKOR Lost City

Angkor Temples!!! They are the biggest religious temples in the world!!!So they say...........

Well here goes a little bit of Culture!!! In the years of 1100 there was one big empire that started in far north region of Burma and extend to the shores of Vietname!!! It included as we know today as Myanmar, thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietname!!! It was called the Khemer Empire!!! This people was the old Cambodians that ruled all this place!!! They center was ANGKOR City where there was 1 million people living (At that time london had 50, 000!!!). This is what is left from 1000 years ago!!! Many temples got damaged by the khamer Rouge in the civil war 30 years ago!!! Most of the Temples represent Gods and they where secret praying places!!!

For the less interested in History it was the temples where Tomb Riader was made with the always nice Angelina Jolieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee......

The closest city is Siem Reap, its where everybody stays!!! I had no idea it could exist such a touristic place in Cambodia!!! It was like mini Holiday, with a lot of lights and fancy huge hotels!!!! I guess the temples attract mass tourism!!!So no fotos of the city in my blog!!!! But i found this chill guesthouse...where i could relax in the rooftop bar and all the reall backpackers where there....Yeah fuck fancy hotels....Lowbudget rooms with no AC and tide bathrooms!!!! Met some cool people there, like always........so i had a great time there!!!

One day visiting the temples (They where expensive, 20$ is a fortune around here so i made a run for it hired a motodriver and saw all in one day....), they are very far from each other like the all thing is 30 km!!
In the temples one of my most rewarding moments of the trip!!! While visiting one of the Temples one young mong come talk to me!!Is english was quite good... They where mongs from the north of Cambodia and they were visiting the temples that they study since young boys!!! We had a nice talk, took some pics (that was nice, they had no idea how to use it!!) and after they said i could see the temple with them and could ask whatever i wanted cause they knew all about it....And actually they did!!!!

After2 days relaxing and laughing in the guesthouse hehehe...Found this brazilian guy that i met in Bangkok 2 months ago!!! We had a great time going out!!!!

Like u should know this pics are from last week!!! Am not here anymore not even close....wait for the next ones!!!!!
